Delegation and Delegation Change Request Policy

Consumers can delegate their application to Certified Insurance Agents in the online application to assist them with the entire application process including filling out the application, submitting the application, making changes to cases, terminating cases, renewing coverage, selecting a plan, etc. To transfer an entire book of business or a partial book of business, use the Individual Marketplace Book of Business Transfer Form.

Privacy & Security

Personally Identifiable Information (PII) must remain secure and confidential in accordance with Covered California’s Security and Privacy policies as outlined in the agent agreement, including all applicable laws and regulations. It is the Agent’s responsibility to ensure that they handle this information in the appropriate manner. Remember that emails with consumer PII must be encrypted or secured.
